Our contour wall covering provided a beautiful texture to tie in all aspects of the interior concept by IA Design. The Landscape of Learning design is made up of nine unique elements of oceans, rivers, land, and ecology to highlight the interconnected systems that combine to represent the Department and the complexity of the work that they do. IA’s material concept creates a connection to greater Queensland through colour and finishes that evoke an emotional and spiritual relationship with the state’s diverse natural landscapes and terrain.

Trains Passing was chosen to create a coherent graphic texture as an identity for the Gateway building while using 5 different colourways to differentiate between levels. The artwork resembles an abstract interpretation of the speed of transport and its nature of interconnecting modes.
